During the last week's ceremony of the Belgian Legal Awards 2009, Philippe & Partners has been designated as the best Belgian law firm of the year 2008 (www.droitbelge.be/legal-awards).
The following reasons were given by the jury for awarding this price to our firm:

High quality legal services in all major legal disciplines - Strong collaboration with the academic community, combined with a down to earth solution driven approach - Lawyers equally devoted to consultancy, transactional work and litigation, with a strong interest in alternative dispute resolutions, mediation and arbitration - Presence in the City through membership in professional associations, service to the community, to the University and to the Bar - Innovation and new services: development of outsourcing to legal departments, assistance with innovative products (wind energy PPP's, green certificates, micro-credits, etc.).
Independent, pluralistic Belgian-Luxemburg firm, with international approach through international legal networks - Excellent co-operation with in house counsels - Strong ideas about previsibility of fees for clients, especially in these times of economic turmoil - Engagement for a greener society : use of electric car."
