The Insurance, Torts and Liabilities department of Philippe & Partners provides a wide range of high quality legal services to both domestic and international clients.

We advise all types of companies facing liability and/or insurance problems, as well as the different actors of the insurance market (insurers, companies with a wide range of insurance products, companies with activities limited to very specific products and brokers).

The Insurance, Torts & Liabilities Department is composed of a team of lawyers working on different aspects of insurance and liability laws and regulations on a daily basis. They are capable of carrying out specific national, regional, European or international missions.

We have developed extensive experience in the following areas:

Torts and Liabilities

  • Preventive Legal advice on risks and limitation of risks (limitation of liability clauses, transfer of risks and liability, adequate insurance coverage)
  • Advice on the most appropriate ways to face liability issues
  • Special experience in professional liability issues (doctors, accountants, auditors, lawyers, etc.) and in specific risk areas (product liability, construction, nuclear liability, etc.)
